Product Installation

All VÖRÐR Moto Parts products are intended to be installed by individuals with appropriate mechanical knowledge and experience.

Professional installation is strongly recommended.

The customer is solely responsible for:

  • Verifying compatibility with their motorcycle before purchase.
  • Inspecting the product immediately upon delivery and before installation.
  • Ensuring proper installation using appropriate tools and procedures.
  • Using correct fasteners and manufacturer-recommended torque specifications.
  • Confirming that all fasteners are correctly tightened.
  • Inspecting the product before and after installation.
  • Performing regular inspections before every ride.

Inspection Before Installation

Customers must inspect every product before installation.

Any visible damage, manufacturing defect, or shipping damage must be reported before installation.

Installation of the product confirms that the customer has inspected the product and found no visible defects, except for hidden manufacturing defects that could not reasonably have been identified before installation.


Customer Responsibility

By purchasing and installing our products, the customer acknowledges that motorcycle modifications involve inherent risks.

The customer accepts full responsibility for:

  • Correct installation.
  • Proper maintenance.
  • Regular inspection.
  • Safe operation of the motorcycle after installation.
  • Compliance with all applicable local laws and regulations.

Inspection Before Riding

Before every ride, customers should inspect:

  • Mounting bolts.
  • Brackets.
  • Fasteners.
  • Printed parts.
  • Cracks.
  • Excessive wear.
  • Movement or looseness.

Do not operate the motorcycle if any defect is found.


Product Characteristics

Many VÖRÐR Moto Parts products are manufactured using additive manufacturing (3D printing) or custom production methods.

Minor cosmetic imperfections, layer lines, surface texture variations, or slight color differences are normal characteristics of the manufacturing process and are not considered defects.


Intended Use

Products must only be used for their intended purpose as described in the individual product listing.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the product complies with all applicable laws and regulations in their country.


Product Modifications

Products must not be modified.

Drilling, sanding, cutting, heating, welding, painting, or altering the product may compromise its performance and will void any applicable warranty.


Motorsport & Competition

Unless specifically stated otherwise, VÖRÐR Moto Parts products are not tested or certified for racing or professional competition.

Use in racing or competition is entirely at the customer's own risk.


Heat & Environmental Exposure

Products must not be exposed to temperatures or environmental conditions beyond their intended operating limits.

Damage caused by excessive heat, chemicals, fuel, solvents, brake fluid, UV exposure, or improper storage is not covered by warranty.


Accident Liability

VÖRÐR Moto Parts is not responsible for damage resulting from:

  • Incorrect installation.
  • Improper maintenance.
  • Failure to inspect the product.
  • Misuse.
  • Overloading.
  • Road hazards.
  • Accidents or crashes.
  • Impacts.
  • Improper repairs.
  • Unauthorized modifications.
  • Installation together with incompatible parts.

Warranty Exclusions

Warranty does not cover damage caused by:

  • Installation errors.
  • Improper use.
  • Crashes or impacts.
  • Normal wear and tear.
  • UV exposure.
  • Chemical exposure.
  • Excessive heat.
  • Improper storage.
  • Incorrect torque.
  • Failure to inspect or maintain the product.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VÖRÐR Moto Parts shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from the installation or use of its products.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Labour or installation costs.
  • Removal or reinstallation costs.
  • Shipping expenses.
  • Vehicle downtime.
  • Damage to other motorcycle components.
  • Loss of income or business interruption.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion is prohibited by applicable law.


Customer Acknowledgement

By purchasing any product from VÖRÐR Moto Parts, the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these terms.

The customer further acknowledges that they are responsible for verifying compatibility, proper installation, inspection, maintenance, and the safe use of the product.
